How do I find what I want to buy?
The best way to find products is to use the keyword search on the homepage. This will save you time having to scroll through pages. You can also shop by brand on the 'shop by brand' tab. If you have a query about a certain product or can’t find something you were expecting to find, call us on 08700 67 29 22.

How do I register?
If you are already an existing customer there is no need to re-register. Just log in as normal with your username (normally your email address) and password.

If you have not used any of our services before, you will need to register with us.

To register or sign in, click on the 'Login' or 'Register' link at the top of the page. You will be asked to register before you make your first purchase.

When you register, we collect the information we need to fulfil your order, or to contact you if there's a problem.

You'll need to provide your name, address, and an email address, but you don't have to enter your credit card details at this stage.

You can also view the full terms and conditions of our online shopping service and our privacy, security and delivery policies by clicking on the 'privacy, security and delivery policies' link at the bottom of every page.

You only need to register once for full access to our store.

We endeavour to maintain a good level of stock on our website, however there are many products we have in stock that have yet to be listed on our site If you are looking for something in particular call us on 08700 67 29 22. We are open Monday to Friday, 10am to 5:30pm.

What are cookies and why do I need them?
Cookies are small pieces of information that are stored by your Internet browser on your computer's hard drive. What are the delivery times over the Christmas and in early January?
In the run up to Christmas it is best to get your order in early to be sure of Christmas delivery. Our estimated cut off date for Christmas delivery in 2007 is the 19th of December. Over the holiday period, after Christmas and and in the run up to New Year our delivery times will increase from the usual 3 days to 7-10 workings days as our order processing centre will close on the 22nd December and re-open on the 3rd January. Please send any enquiries between these dates to 'onlinesales@soundcontrol.co.uk'. Please note that Sound Control will not debit your payment until we dispatch your order.

Why can’t I log in to www.soundcontrol.co.uk?
www.soundcontrol.co.uk is optimised to operate using Windows XP and Microsoft Internet Explorer. The bulk of users surfing on the Internet use this software, we are therefore duty bound to provide a working system for Internet Explorer users.

Our site has been tested using Netscape Navigator, Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox. If you are an Apple user you may have problems using Safari, we recommend that you use Internet Explorer.

If you are still having problems logging in we suggest that you delete your ‘cookies’ before trying again. To do this using Internet Explorer go to ‘Tools’, ‘Internet Options’ and hit the ‘Delete Cookies’ button. Your ‘cookies’ should be enabled in order to use www.soundcontrol.co.uk; they are small pieces of software that improve the interactivity between a website and your computer (such as viewing your shopping history and storing items in your shopping cart between visits).

Where is my reciept? It didn't come with my order.
Your reciept will be sent by Royal Mail post and not with your order (this is a standard security procedure for mail order and internet sales). You will recieve your reciept a short while after you have recieved your order by UPS.

You can change your shipping options up until the moment you have submitted your credit card information for processing.

Do you ship internationally?
We do not ship internationally. Soundcontrol.co.uk will ship to any UK destination. We use UPS for UK deliveries, normally delivery takes around 24 hours from dispatch. Remote parts of the country may be subject to longer delivery times.

How much is postage?
Our standard postage cost is £7.50. We use UPS as our courier.

What are the delivery times over the Christmas Holiday period and in early January?
Over Christmas and New Year our delivery times will increase from the usual 3 - 7 workings days to 10-14 working days as our order processing centre will close on the 22nd December and re-open on the 3rd January. Please send any enquiries between these dates to 'onlinesales@soundcontrol.co.uk'. Please note that Sound Control will not debit your payment until we dispatch your order.
We expect to clear the backlog by week beginning 9th January.

What is my delivery tracking number?
Your UPS delivery tracking number will be sent to the email address you provided when the item is dispatched to you. If you were expecting a tracking number and have not received one you can enquire by emailing onlinesales@soundcontrol.co.uk. Deliveries can be tracked at www.ups.com

When will I receive my order?
Most orders are dispatched within 3-6 working days of receipt. However, all items are subject to availability. If an item is available on our website it may not always mean that we have stock that's ready for immediate dispatch. If something is ordered and we forsee a delay, the customer will be contacted at the earliest opportunity by email or telephone. We use the UPS Standard service for shipping. This normally delivers within 24 hours to most addresses in the UK.

What time is the store open?
Most Sound Control stores* are open from 10 am until 6pm Monday to Friday, and 9 am to 5.30pm on Saturdays.
We are normally closed on Sundays.

*Sound Control London is open 9am to 9pm Monday to Saturday and 12noon to 6pm on Sunday.
